So in this particular posting, i would like to post more pictures when things were a bit more complicated than they are now. This was when communist terrorist was active in Malaysia; my father refers to those time as "zaman kominis" which means "communist era".
Again, I love to go into some details about this pictures and the history, but I just don't have the time right now. I've done short summaries for the pics I posted. Short summaries would not do them justice, I know, but what to do, I've got no time. Anyway, enjoy the pictures.

Although in 1970s the Malayan Communist were pretty much contained to the jungles, once in a while they reminded city folks that they were still relevant and walked amongst us. On August 26, 1975, they bombed the National Monument or Tugu Negara, which removed one whole statue and the heads of three other statue.
